Jon Egging Trust hosts showcase day

Jon Egging Trust

Earlier this week, SecureCloud+ CEO Peter Williamson had the opportunity to fly alongside Nick English from Bremont in his Broussard.  The focus of the day was our continued support to the Jon Egging Trust and the inspiring work they do developing young people’s life and work skills. Nick English, co-founder of the award-winning British luxury watch brand – Bremont, flew the 1957 Max Holste MH-1621M Broussard aircraft as part of their contribution to raising funds for the Jon Egging Trust.

Peter Williamson said “The whole event was great. Due to Bremont’s generosity in providing yesterday’s event as an auction prize, it has enabled the trust to benefit and for our  organisations, who have a similar ethos, to work together closer on community outreach projects.‘’

We look forward to working with the trust and their mission to inspire the young generation. For more information about the trust please visit

A day in the life of a Reservist : Reserves Day

infantry SecureCloud+ would like to celebrate Reserves Day and commemorate all the reservists who give up their time to serve in our country. Today, a reservist and SecureCloud employee Liam describes how he balances working for SecureCloud+ and military life.

Liam- SecureCloud+

‘I always had the desire to be part of the Armed Forces, but as my personal circumstances changed a full-time role in the military was no longer an option. Joining the British Army, as a reservist, has allowed me to fulfil my career aspirations inside and outside of the military.

Being a reservist has taught me many skills which I use in my current role as Sales Support for SecureCloud+ such as the ability to liaise with all ranks of the military and an understanding of their vision.  I was originally attracted o SecureCloud+ because they were Silver Award Winners of the Armed Forces Covenant and actively employed Veterans and Reservists. Serving reservists like myself, receive 2 weeks extra leave in order to fulfil our annual training campThe Company also supports several military focused charities like Combat Stress, RAF Benevolent Fund and actively support the military in various outreach projects. The Company is supportive in many ways and with its mix of diverse personnelhas created a refreshing workplace which I enjoy working in. ‘’

SecureCloud+ would like to thank Liam and Reservists across the UK for their dedication.

SecureCloud+ at The AOC RAF No 22 Group Conference

SecureCloud+ is proud to have attended the AOC  RAF 22 Group Conference  at MOD Lyneham on 19th & 20th June. More than 180 senior personnel, including a part of 22 Group Defence School of Electronic and Mechanical Engineering (DSEME) attended the conference. The conference theme was Growing the Next Generation which focused on looking at innovation in training, education and modernisation.

The conference was a great platform for us to demonstrate our Networked Collaboration Service (NCS) which is currently in service throughout the MOD but also at RAF Cosford, No 1 Training School which is part of the 22 Group. We were able to share with the wider audience how we are transforming Defence training to deliver better training to more people, in Realtime and over geographically dispersed locations at a reduced cost.

During the conference we were able to connect to one of the MOD’s live virtual learning environments (VLE) LEARN and ingest other training material and live feeds from various sources.

We would like to extend our thanks to the RAF No 22 Group RAF and Air Vice Marshal Warren James and his team for inviting us to contribute.
